Over the years I have collected some notes related to the name van Wessel and the hamlet Wessel near Barneveld. Rather than put all this notes on a single page, I have split them up to keep like material together. Some texts are directly copied from books or other on-line resources were these are hard to obtain. Material marked with [NL] is available in Dutch only, but you can use the native translation function in your browser (e.g. Google Chrome) to get a feel for the content.
